Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2026

Binary Marketing Limited, trading as Binary ('we', 'us', 'our'), is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who We Are

Binary Marketing Limited is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Registered Office: Binary Marketing Limited, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
Email: info@binary-agency.com

2. What Data We Collect

If you use the contact form on this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name, if you give it
- Your company type
- The commercial objective you describe

If you book a call with us through Microsoft Bookings, we collect your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you add to the booking.

If you email us, we collect your name, email address and anything you include in your message.

Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep this website secure and working. To limit spam, the contact form also stores a coded version of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address, and deletes it after two hours.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:
- Reply to your enquiry
- Arrange and hold any call you book with us
- Provide the information about our services that you ask for
- Keep a record of the enquiries we receive

4. Legal Basis

We process your data under:
- Legitimate interests (responding to and managing business enquiries)
- Steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract with us

5. Who Processes Your Data for Us

We use these providers to run our business. Each one processes your data only on our instructions and under its own data processing terms:
- GoDaddy hosts this website and receives contact form submissions
- Microsoft provides our email and calendar through Microsoft 365, delivers contact form enquiries to our inbox and runs Microsoft Bookings
- Dropbox stores our log of website enquiries

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers listed above, or where the law requires us to.

7. Data Retention

We keep enquiries, including the emails and our enquiry log, for 24 months from the date we receive them, and then delete them. If your enquiry leads to work together, we keep the records that work needs for as long as the work and our legal obligations require.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your data
- Ask us to restrict or stop processing your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Ask for your data in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email info@binary-agency.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
