AI Services
AI consultancy
Buying Copilot licences is not adoption. This is the work that finds where the value sits in your own business, specifies what gets built, and plans how it reaches the people who do the job.
Who we help
Every business deploying AI.
We find the real reason for using AI in your business, build the solution, and then scale it. This service has been developed to change how your business runs. This is a different service from anything else we deliver, we go deep with the right set of people around the table: The IT lead, executive sponsors, and the functions whose work is going to change.
Binary's AI consultancy is led by people who have worked at Microsoft, TikTok and HP. We run the discovery, write the agent specifications and help scope and build your AI rollout and data readiness plans.
AI Discovery
A structured discovery run over ten working days for a fixed fee, inclusive of consultant time, on-site delivery, travel and the executive playback. It answers three questions in order: where the value is, what gets built and how hard it is, and how it reaches the workforce.
- Reason. Opportunity discovery across every function, written up as a register and ranked rather than a list of ideas.
- Solution. Agent opportunities taken to build ready specification, and an integration complexity rating against ERP, MES, WMS, EDI and finance systems.
- Scale. A twelve-week phased AI/Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout plan, a data plan, a SharePoint and content estate review, and a twelve-to-twenty-four-month horizon view.
What you are left holding
Ten deliverables, all of them usable without us: the AI Discovery Report, an Opportunity Register, an Agent Opportunity Pack of three to five specifications, an Integration Complexity Matrix, a twelve-week Rollout, Data Readiness and Governance Plans, a Data/SharePoint and Content Estate Review, all supported with a detailed Horizon Opportunities Brief, a 90-Day Roadmap, and an Executive Playback Deck.
Build, rollout and remediation work sit outside the discovery and are scoped separately afterwards based on your requirements. The discovery does not commit you to a build, and it is written so another supplier could act on it.
What it needs from you
- Read-only access to your tenant.
- Eight to ten functional workshops across the business.
- Approx four hours a week from an engagement lead, plus six to eight hours of IT time.
- An executive sponsor who will act on the playback.
The value
Ten working days produce a ranked view of where AI pays in your business, three to five agent specifications written to the point where a developer could build them, and a rollout plan with phases and owners. Decisions on spend come after that evidence rather than before it.
For a channel business looking to optimise with AI, the areas in scope are quoting and bid desks, vendor and product data, pricing and rebate administration, tender and framework responses, service desk handling, and warehouse and logistics paperwork. That is where the hours go, and it is where the register usually fills up.
What it costs to ignore it
The common failure is licences bought and called adoption. Seats go out, a pilot group tries them, nothing changes in the processes that carry the cost, and the renewal conversation arrives with no evidence behind it.
The second failure is agent work started without data, in silos or a permissions plan. It stalls at the security review, and unpicking a SharePoint estate after the fact costs more than reviewing it first.
The third is doing none of it while your competitors quote faster, answer tenders faster and handle tickets with fewer people. That gap shows up in the deals you lose without ever being told why.
How it runs
It's a fixed fee for ten working days, with payment split half on signature and half on delivery, and we run the programme. The discovery doesn't commit you to a build; it's written so another supplier or your in-house team could pick it up if you choose to. Where you want us to take the build, rollout or remediation further, we deliver that too, scoped and quoted separately from the initial consultancy. Fee and terms are set out clearly in the proposal.
